How to Help Japan – Earthquake Aftermath and Volunteering

Civilian volunteering requires a level of coordination that in most cases will not in be in place for another week. However, there are several other ways to help immediately:

Google has established a web page with news and information related to Japan Earthquake Relief effort
Donate Medical Items:
Make the donations of bulk medical items for Japan Earthquake Relief through OperationUSA
Support Medical Teams:
Internationalmedicalcorps is setting up medical response teams and is looking for donations. Texting MED to 80888 will send them a $10 donation
Connect with Response Teams Organized by Individuals:
David Cambell of All Hands Volunteer and his organization are putting together teams for earthquake relief and planning to help on the ground soon.
