Hospice Volunteering

Inspiration Hospice provides hospice care to patients that have been given six months or less to live. We are funded through Medicare and provide physicians, nurses, aides and most importantly volunteers. We visit patients either in their homes, their caregivers home or in facilities, wherever the need lies. We have an amazing group of volunteers and are always looking for more caring individuals to join our team. Some of our patients have no family, no one to visit with them, no one to share their stories or simply sit with them and provide compassionate care.

Your work may start out with something as simple as researching a non-profit organizations, speaking to a few volunteers who may have worked for it and getting management's perspective on the vision for their organization, but this information then needs to be turned into short yet thoughtful and inspiring piece of writing which can inspire "aspiring volunteers" to take action.
