"Youth inspire their community through service" (by Rick Dandes of The Daily Item)
"COAL TOWNSHIP — Kyla Martin, 14, of Paxinos, and her good friend, Miranda Canouse, of Shamokin, co-founders of the Angels at Work volunteer group, are committed to charitable work and making the world safer. Lofty goals for an organization comprised of 10 girls, ages 9 to 16. But the series of 20 events and fundraisers they’ve held since the group’s inception in 2005 is ample proof of their growing influence in the Coal Region, and beyond." - (by Rick Dandes of The Daily Item)

I really love how our young
I really love how our young people around the world are taking it upon themselves to help others and to make this a better place to live. Teenagers have an amazing capacity to get things done when they want to. I'm very proud of the youth in that article and others around the globe who are doing their part.
Tutoring can be one the best ways to...
i think tutoring is one of the best ways to experience the rewards of volunteering. It is such an easy way to make an important contribution to someone's lives. I will never forget my math tutor, he was so patient with me and really made learning math a lot of fun. My grades improved and to this day i think of how great it was for him to take the time to make me love a subject that i was starting to really dislike.
I believe that people often
I believe that people often forget how valuable quality attention and time can make in situations like this. Schools today have such huge class sizes that it's sad. We need to fix this, and yet, I don't know how to make that happen.
Youths Importance
Youth are always a great hope for a nation where the responsibility of today and tomorrow lies on their shoulders .But they are criticized most for their mistakes, voluntary helping mentality and sharp thinking towards anything are the weapons of the todays youth. But they lag in experience but it can be gained through practice.
Naturelover, you are so very
Naturelover, you are so very right. Sometimes I think we put too much of a burden on youth. That said, we were all youth once, and it's our duty to try and change the world, to try and make it better. We don't have a rulebook, though. We learn by experience.
