i am looking to help people in every way. i am looking for as many hours of community service as possible because i want to join the navy but my record isnt exaclly pleasent. Look i have made some bad choices in my life but i want a second chance to becume successful in life.so please if u can help me that is very appeciated to me.
The CommunityMeditation Project allows graduates of our 4-week Posture & Breathing Course or 8-week Full Course to participate in our Outreach Initiative Program as a means of completing court mandated community service.
Participation in the 4-week Stress Reduction Meditation Course is a prerequisite for working on a community outreach initiative. One of our main goals is teaching people skills and techniques for managing stress and improving overall health, to change their lives for the better, in a real and lasting way. As a graduate of our either of our Courses, you will have the first-hand knowledge and familiarity to speak to others describing your experiences with The Practice.
Community Service is completed through our Outreach Initiative in one of the follow ways:
Help us spread the word about CommunityMeditation and The Practice! We see value in our educational courses, and want to teach as many people as possible the same skills and techniques that you will learn through our 4-week course. This Initiative consists of recruiting guests for free public lectures, and the 4-Week Stress Reduction Course. Your work is done on your own time by relating your experiences with CommunityMeditation to your friends, family, coworkers, and members of your community.
Create and organize an Outreach Initiative of your own! If you are affiliated with a group or organization that you think could benefit from what you've learned through The Practice, you can coordinate a talk of your own. You and other members of CommunityMeditation can set a time and place, recruit guests, and share the positive personal experiences and changes that have occurred in your life through your participation in our project. Also, if you organize a talk, one of our staff members will be available to help.
We have various administrative tasks that need to be done. We need help with web development, video production, data entry, research, and a number of other tasks. If you have a background in any of the items listed above, or have other skills that you think are relevant to our project, please let us know.

The Detroit Rescue Mission Ministries -This program will require us to help serve food to the needy. It is close by and by doing so we will not only be helping reduce world hunger but showing the community that we care.
Library Tutors for Southwest Detroit Branches- It is important that our youth be provided with the best chances at success. why not be apart of it? This project will have us involved in helping youth with homework and so forth. It does require an initial orientation and a 3 month commitment but it is well worth it.
EMentor.This project sounds fun. Its a mentoring service to kids online.! how cool! I know! I think it would be fun and interesting to help those younger than us to steer towards the college path like us.
Habitat for Humanity is a non-profit organization created to build homes in our city. This project requires work but should be fun and eventful. It would allow us to help build the actual homes. Its not dangerous and will not only help beautify our city but provide decent housing to those in need.

Hi,My name is Nadine Westenberg. I am 49 years old. I live in New Port Richey Fl. I need to do 75 hours of community service. I was court ordered to do this for a bounced check of 75 dollars that was from 31/2 years ago and failure to redeliver a hired vehicle. The check was just poor math calculation and the car was just procrastination. The car was returned but late. So the charges were dropped to misdemeanors. I was never in trouble before and I don't plan to be ever again. I never did drugs. I was always a home maker. If you still need volunteers please give me a call asap. My number is 727 645-1226.
