Helping the Environment- Composting

A group of 6 students thought of a way of helping the community from an environmental perspective. They thought of starting a project so that they could recycle waste products and produce something better in return. After some research, the leader of the group came up with the idea of composting. What they would do is collect different kinds of waste food, leaves, and other recyclable material and put them in a compost bin. After treating it for about 2 months or so, the waste materials are decompose to become fertilizers-- which can then be used to grow plants.

I will try to get a link from the leader of that group to provide more information on how to carry out composting.

It sounds like a good idea.

It sounds like a good idea. It's not something I'm good at or able to do but for projects, I think groups can get together and accomplish neighborhood or region goals.

My advice to the team

Composting is a excellent idea where we can convert the biological waste into useful manure for the plants .In adding to the scenario, more plants have to be grown in the places where we find more pollution. So my advice to the team is not only produce a quality manure but also to grow more plants in the ares where pollution is over the limit. In the area where more trees are there, we can restrict the pollution and also more amount of rainfall also we get due to this planting. So please use this manure or compost to grow more plants .

That sounds like great

That sounds like great advice, Naturelover. This isn't my forte, and I just don't know a whole lot about it, but from what is being written here, it sounds really great.
