Helping at an elders home
One of various community service projects in our school was to help elders at an elders home known as Hnin Si Gone in Yangon, Myanmar. The group of three juniors go there on Saturdays and usually spend about 8 hours. They usually listen to the elders' experiences, and they also help out preparing food and cleaning their bed.

This is something that can be
This is something that can be done in any part of the world and should be encouraged. There is so very much that young people can learn from their elders, and it also provides much-needed companionship for the seniors. Remember, we'll all be there eventually.
I do understand what the first person to reply said. It's tough sometimes to get young people to see the value here, but then that's what we, as parents, should be doing -- advising our children and helping them to learn values and what really matters.
Elders means Experience
Today youths are not bothered much about the elders in their home due to their busy schedule of work and other factors. They forget the importance of the elders in their home mainly parents and grandparents. Even though the youth can win the world with their active mind and powerful thoughts , they need to have certain experience to fill the pot, By which they can excel much more, so only the elder people in the home only can lead them in a good way by sharing their experience and ideas to the youth. So they have to be treated in a good way by helping them when they need .
